Starting with the series UNDER PRESSURE, in which internal tensions and structural loads become visible, her work develops via STATICS to the current series STEERING STATE.
While in STATIK movement is increasingly bound and brought into equilibrium, this development intensifies in HALTEZUSTAT:
Tension is no longer depicted, but rather maintained within the image space.
The reduced visual language uses material, layering and surface functionally – as carriers of energy.
The works explore the moment before movement: energy in balance, without being discharged.
