WdK constructs imagined spaces grounded in what they term the “Geometry of the Fixed-Letting Go,” a conceptual framework mediated by the equation X² + Y² = k², in which reason (X) and emotion (Y) are balanced around a central tension (k). Rather than seeking resolution, WdK’s practice measures the shifting distance between stability and surrender. Sandcastles stand as metaphors for places where emptiness transforms into structure and error is elevated to luxury. Within these environments, fragility becomes material, and instability generates its own form of beauty. WdK describes their work not as objects, but as the creation of tensions—spaces where collapse is elegance and the imaginary is given substance.
