Born in Buenos Aires to Argentinian and Paraguayan parents, Victoria Stagni is a France-based artist whose work draws inspiration from the traditions of magical realism, shaped by authors like Gabriela Garcia Marquez and Alejo Carpentier. Her paintings place human figures within imaginative natural settings, using both friendly and unsettling animal forms to highlight the complex connections between people, animals, and the natural world. Stagni’s work has been exhibited in France, Cuba, the United States, and Australia.
