Tatsiana Yelistratava (b. 1982, Gomel, Belarus) is a contemporary artist based in Hurghada, Egypt. With a background in medicine, she has developed her artistic practice over more than ten years of independent work. Yelistratava’s method centers on expressive figurative painting, which she later fragments, tears apart, and reconstructs; the resulting visible fractures and irregular edges are integral to her compositions and evoke ideas of transformation. Using acrylic, collage, and cotton thread, she investigates memory, identity, support, and the unseen forces that shape experience. Her ongoing series, The Shape of Resilience, considers healing as a form of becoming whole through change. Yelistratava’s work has been featured in international exhibitions and in FAZ Art Magazine (Germany).
