Tanja Schnabl, born in St. Pölten in 1974 and raised in Wilhelmsburg, has been based in St. Pölten since 2004, where she lives with her family and maintains her studio. Her practice centers on acrylic, mixed media, and watercolor, reflecting training with artists including Erwin Kastner, Heidi Haberlehner, Lydia Leydolf, DI Jos K. Biersack at Academy Geras, Sandra Riegler, Krassimir Kolev, Christine Krainer, Editha Tarantino, Brigitte Lehner, and Angelika Domenig. Schnabl’s work is defined by vivid acrylic color, everyday motifs, and elements of fantasy, aiming to convey joy and emotion through a lively palette.
