With a background in glass and textiles, and formal training at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts and the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, this artist has devoted the past two decades to acrylic painting. Based in France and active as a professional artist since 2006, their work draws on a longstanding fascination with the history of costume, fashion, and sewing, using clothing as both structure and motif. Their paintings have appeared in over one hundred international exhibitions, spanning France, the United States, Taiwan, Tunisia, and Germany. A personal journey between Lithuania and France shapes an approach in which textiles serve as a central expressive force.
