Evgenia Smirnova began painting at 26, following a move from her native Saint Petersburg to Sicily. She studied under Salvo Coglitori and later completed a Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute, where she developed her individual approach to color and painting. Over the past three years, Smirnova’s work has been shown in Rome, Milan, Venice, Arte Padova 2021, Arte Genova 2022, Saint Petersburg, and Taiwan. In 2024, one of her works was acquired by Guy Laliberté for the Lune Rouge public collection. Smirnova describes her art as “whimsical poetry,” grounded in themes of freedom and self-discovery.
