Working under the name GURI, Sheila González is a Spanish artist whose practice merges elements of classical sculpture with the energy of contemporary urban art. Combining oil and spray paint, she creates images in which classical forms are deconstructed and urban motifs acquire a poetic dimension. González’s evolving universe includes figures, symbolic animals, and reinterpretations of nature, unified by a dominant palette—currently centered on pink as an emotional terrain.
