Serge Bereziac’s work blends elements of Neo-Pop and Art Singulier, distinguished by clear lines, intuitive color, and a preference for simplicity over dense textures. Having left engineering in 1998, he spent the following years working in markets, bars, and construction sites, where he began sketching scenes of everyday life on scraps of cardboard. Alongside drawing, he explored photography, moving from analog to digital and refining his sense of composition. Bereziac’s paintings feature archetypal figures—social masks rendered with an energy that avoids aggression—drawing on the directness of naive art and ironic observation. For him, art remains inseparable from the fabric of daily experience.
