Working under the name Loewenhut, Sabine Schoen is a Berlin-born artist whose practice spans oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art. Her ongoing work reinterprets the "Seven Deadly Sins" through the lens of contemporary youth culture. Schoen’s artistic approach is informed by a wide-ranging background that includes roles as a tailor, factory worker, women’s punk band founder, café manager, graffiti project director, drug counselor, educator, and kindergarten teacher. She studied oil and acrylic painting for five years with Bremen artist Rebeka Uhlig and completed a two-year apprenticeship in watercolor with Syrian master Fahrid ad Albaki.
