Sabine Leclercq Haanaes is trained at the Tverfaglige Kunstinstitut in Oslo. Drawing from the vivid colors of Norwegian landscapes, she creates paintings characterized by layered transparencies and textured surfaces. Working with rollers, spatulas, scrapers, and sponges, and using materials such as inks, powders, and modelling paste, she develops compositions that emphasize energetic gesture and spontaneity.
