Working without formal training, Roberto Costantini—known as Roby.ni—has developed a painting practice shaped by his experience of colorblindness. Since 2014, he has approached each canvas intuitively, allowing emotion and instinct to guide his unconventional use of color. Roby.ni describes his process as spontaneous and connected to moments of inspiration, aiming to transform emotion into tangible form. His body of work includes approximately 63 pieces and several solo exhibitions. Rather than depicting what is seen, Roby.ni’s paintings reflect inner feeling and a personal vision of color as an expressive force.
