Working across acrylic, oil, ink, watercolor, and pastel, Oxana Sanson brings a foundation of academic training and the influence of major painters to her practice. Her technique merges expressionism, fluid gestures, bold color, and stylistic range, moving between figuration and abstraction. Born in Russia, Sanson studied at the School of Fine Arts (1980–1984) and the Higher School of Fine Arts (1984–1988). She served as principal painter at the theatre (1988–1992), lead painter on television (1993–2000), and taught at the School of Fine Arts (1989–1999). Since 2003, Sanson has continued her career in France. Her works have received awards and are included in private collections internationally.
