Olga Schrufer Kozlova was born in 1947 in Chomutov, Czechoslovakia, and grew up in Karlovy Vary, where she studied languages and tourism economics while taking Fine Arts classes with Professor Ludva. After leaving Czechoslovakia during the Prague Spring in 1968, she settled in Munich and continued her painting training with Professor Hinsch in Göttingen. Since 1979, Schrufer Kozlova has exhibited widely across Germany, France, Monaco, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Canada, with her works now included in collections throughout Europe and North America. She has lived in both the French Riviera and Florida, and is currently based near Étretat. In 2025, her painting “Dans les collines” achieved a record sale at auction in Prague.
