Born in Italy in 1954, the artist began as a cartoonist for trade union publications in Naples during the 1970s, while immersed in university life and a period of social unrest. By the 1980s in Potenza, a shift toward color emerged, grounded in a figurative-realistic approach. Returning to Naples in 1996, the artist joined Esasperatismo, contributing to international exhibitions associated with the movement. In 2011, the artist relocated to Basilicata, resuming work in sculpture alongside ceramicist friends. Today, all artwork is produced exclusively on commission for funded projects of any scale, with remaining time devoted to contemplation, invention, and teaching in the unhurried environment of Basilicata.
