After two decades devoted to building a business, the artist turned to painting, finding a new beginning in the quiet that followed. Drawing from a foundation of Christian faith, the work centers on the idea that brokenness can mark the true start of a story rather than its end. Paintings develop layered surfaces that naturally fracture over time, forming craquelure unique to each piece. The artist meticulously traces every crack by hand using Lascaux gold paint, emphasizing that gold serves not as ornament, but as the light that emerges through brokenness.
