Nathalie Gribinski is a French-American artist based in Chicago whose work centers on vibrant color, movement, and imaginative forms. For more than thirty years, Gribinski has developed a visual language that includes Tourlicoulis—a system of shapes, symbols, and characters inspired by a word created by her brother. Her paintings bring together unexpected relationships between forms, colors, and emotions, exploring communication, harmony, humor, and human depth. Gribinski’s art is held in private collections across the United States and Europe, including that of Christine Ruiz Picasso.
