Credentials

  • Works on commission
Working with materials such as straw, soil, bark, and ash, the artist creates vessels and wall pieces that reflect both disappearance and persistence. Born in Mariupol—a city transformed by loss—they now live and work in Zurich, yet draw on remnants of place and memory. Rather than selecting traditional mediums, the artist uses what remains, emphasizing matter that resists conventional beauty. Influences from Arte Povera and wabi-sabi are present in the embrace of humble materials and the value found in imperfection. Their works serve as quiet witnesses—fragile, enduring, and shaped by the traces of what has been left behind.
