With over 25 years of experience, Monica Catto is a contemporary impressionist painter whose work is shaped by both family heritage and a commitment to innovation. Using oil, acrylic, and cold wax, she applies brushes, spatulas, and rollers to produce textured surfaces that engage the interplay of light and shadow. Her paintings, which extend beyond traditional landscape and portraiture, serve as emotional reflections attentive to urban change and inner experience. Notable projects include the "Leonardeschi" series, permanently on view at the Museo Mostra Leonardo da Vinci in Venice, and a suite of Desio cityscapes exhibited at Banca BPM in Desio.
