Miroslav de la Torre Kozorez (b. 1992, Cuba) is a visual artist whose practice spans expressionism, surrealism, and informalism, resulting in a post-romantic style that alternates between abstraction and figuration. Drawing on training at the Vicentina de la Torre Academy of Arts in Camagüey (2008–2011) and the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in Havana (2015–2023), de la Torre Kozorez addresses solitude, travel, and the fusion of reality and fantasy, often incorporating subtle social critique. His work is characterized by emotionally charged and personal narratives, with color serving as a central means to evoke and provoke reflection.
