Mihov combines a background in global finance with roots in post-communist Bulgarian art, drawing on training in Orthodox iconography and contemporary portraiture. Working across oil, watercolor, collage, and precious metals, he creates layered canvases that unite capitalist imagery with spiritual motifs. Through his approach, which he calls Cerebral Figurative Expressionism, Mihov produces works that encourage viewers to consider their own values in the context of capitalist culture, prompting both introspection and emotional response.
