Micol Magni is a painter and illustrator whose practice centers on layered compositions in limited palettes, worked on canvas and paper. A graduate of the Liceo Artistico and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied contemporary art, Magni is known for placing sparse figures against white backgrounds, giving her subjects a sculptural quality and a sense of suspension. Drawing on memory and analog archives, she creates essential, contemplative works that evoke stillness and the transience of experience.
