Germany

Michael Rehr-Hoffmann (b. 1957) is a German artist whose practice centers on still life and the depiction of people. Trained in communication design at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he spent over three decades working as a graphic designer across advertising and public relations. Since retiring in 2016, Rehr-Hoffmann has returned to painting, focusing on works where objects and human figures each carry significance intended to engage the viewer.
