Originally from Skagen, Denmark—often referred to as the “Land of The Light”—the artist has maintained a dedicated painting practice since 2009, following a career as a freelance illustrator for both Danish and international clients. A formative seven-week stay at Osho’s ashram in Poona in 1999 marked a pivotal shift, inspiring a move toward painting as intuitive, open-ended inquiry rather than explanation. The artist approaches each canvas as a space for listening, allowing imagery to emerge without preconception. This process serves as an ongoing exploration of creativity and personal growth. Viewers frequently describe the work as quietly resonant, offering a sense of inner recognition and connection.
