Born in Dresden, the artist first pursued an evening painting course at the Dresden University of Fine Arts before studying painting and sculpture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, where they were a master student under Prof. Tony Cragg. Their work is shaped by a fascination with the immediacy of painting, emphasizing the directness and skill required to create images that offer both perspective and insight. The artist sees each painting as a new window—offering unexpected views, inviting viewers into unfamiliar territory, and establishing a presence that encourages ongoing engagement.
