Working with palette knives in oils and acrylics, Margo Kirago creates paintings that move between abstraction, expressive realism, and intuitive mark-making. Based in Warsaw, she builds her compositions from geometric backgrounds, vibrant contrasts of color and texture, and rhythmic arrangements that often drift toward landscapes and abstraction. Texture is central to her work, especially in the “Bird’s Eye View” series, where relief surfaces heighten the sensory experience and invite touch. Color remains a constant emphasis throughout her practice. Kirago’s recent exhibitions include shows in Venice, Rome, Bologna, and Warsaw.
