Born in Trieste in 1977, Marco Bencic developed a strong interest in drawing from an early age, gaining recognition for his self-taught skills during his school years. Although he initially pursued a different career path due to social expectations, his commitment to art remained central. In 2021, Bencic shifted his focus to oil painting and began working in the studio of Livio Možina, a realist and hyperrealist painter widely exhibited in Italy. His practice centers on the technical aspects of painting, moving from preliminary sketches and surface mapping to color mixing and glazing.
