Chilean-born painter Mónica Cecilia Andina Alegría has spent over half her life in Europe, developing her practice outside a formal academic path. Self-taught, she relies on ongoing learning through books, workshops, and experimentation with professional materials. Returning to painting in mid-2023 after a hiatus of more than 15 years, Andina Alegría works across fluid art and palette knife techniques, often blending modern and abstract styles. Her approach is shaped by a continual exploration of color and engagement with contemporary trends.
