Born in 1953, Luisa González is an Argentine artist known for figurative paintings centered on women and urban life. She has held solo exhibitions at galleries and institutions including Sara García Uriburu Gallery, Breson Space, Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum, Katapult Gallery in Basel, UCA in Argentina, “The Tunnel” in Fribourg, Mundo Nuevo Gallery Art, Tandil Museum of Fine Arts, and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. Her work has also been shown at Art Consortium, Mundo Nuevo Foundation, the First Exhibition of Contemporary Argentine Art in Miami, Trench Gallery in Uruguay, GV Art Consulting, Recoleta Cultural Center, Estancias del Pilar, Espacio Modena, Sala Barna in Barcelona, Historical Museum of the North in Salta, La Sala Gallery in Santiago, Celebrities Gallery, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Tres Arroyos, Buenos Aires Province. González received an Honorable Mention at the Manuel Belgrano National Salon and recognition at the “Beni” Salon.
