Lena Zwetik (b. 1991, Kazakhstan) is a freelance visual artist based in southern Germany, focusing on abstract-expressive painting shaped by influences from Surrealism and Symbolism. Using acrylic and watercolor on canvas and wood, she combines traditional techniques with intuitive methods such as sponge and hand painting, emphasizing color and form to convey emotion, perception, and inner experience independent of external reference. Her vibrant works address themes of acceptance, love, freedom, the future, esotericism, and both personal and collective memory. Zwetik has taught art since 2021 and has concentrated on advancing her artistic practice since 2024.
