Larisa Brovdi

Educated at the Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts, Larisa Brovdi is a Ukrainian painter and tapestry artist associated with the Transcarpathian School of Painting. Her practice combines lyrical symbolism, neo-primitivism, and decorative painting, distinguished by bold impasto technique and refined color compositions. Brovdi’s work has been shown internationally, including representing Ukrainian art alongside her husband Ivan Brovdi in a National Exhibition tour across major U.S. cities, and presenting tapestries at the Grand Palais in Paris, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, and the Kunsthalle in Budapest. She has held numerous solo and retrospective exhibitions throughout Ukraine and Europe.
