Hungarian-born artist Krisztina Megyeri creates abstract paintings grounded in an intuitive, layered process that balances transparency, texture, and the tension between spontaneity and control. Drawing on a multicultural background shaped by studies in Germany and Italy, she integrates scratched or drawn marks that suggest the persistence of memory. Megyeri’s practice is informed by a deep connection to nature and experience in ceramics and bronze foundry work, as well as individual study with sculptor A. Minuti and learning from masters such as Mazzolani. Since 2018, she has devoted herself fully to painting, producing meditative works that evoke transformation, harmony, and renewal.
