Working in series that evolve during the painting process, this practice centers on the interplay between identity, the body, concealment, and transformation. Rather than treating painting as representation, the artist approaches it as a space for internal movement—a site where what cannot be captured is rendered visible. Materials such as acrylic, textured surfaces, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media carry meaning beyond decoration. Concealment is used deliberately to create distance and protection, offering new ways of seeing. Faces and bodies become spaces for projection rather than identification, presenting identity as a shifting process marked by the balance of visibility and withdrawal.
