Joëlle Kem Lika is an international painter whose work spans both figurative and abstract approaches, marked by bright, cheerful colors and a play between opacity and transparency. Her paintings are held in private collections across Europe, America, and other regions. Kem Lika received the Toile d'Or at "Art en Capital" in Paris in 2013. She has exhibited widely, with solo and group shows in venues including the Orangerie du Sénat and Art en Capital in Paris, as well as institutions and fairs in London, Berlin, Vienna, Monaco, Rome (Palazzo del Vaticano), Tuscany Art Biennale (Chianciano, Museo Arte), Alexander Museum (Pesaro), and several US cities including New York (Chelsea), Washington, Raleigh, Miami (Wynwood, Art Basel 2013–2016), and Houston (French and British Consulates, Biennale, Permanent Exhibition), as well as in Beijing, Shanghai, and Seoul.
