Since 2015, Jens Fölting has worked as a freelance artist in Munich. Drawing on mixed media techniques and often working on large canvases, he creates works that focus on the emotional resonance of fleeting moments rather than direct representation. His practice is shaped by an interest in the interplay of light, color, and atmosphere, and references the influence of William Turner, Mark Rothko, and Jackson Pollock. Fölting’s paintings move between Impressionism and Abstraction. His work has been presented in several exhibitions and acquired by private collectors.
