JL Lacroix is a French artist recognized for his abstract acrylic paintings and steel sculptures rooted in mythology and symbolic forms. His work has been included in solo and group exhibitions across France. Over nearly a decade, Lacroix produced large-scale public sculptures for municipalities, including The Recuperatosaure (Longpont, 2004), Caimanchat (Fresnay l'Evêque, 2004), The Game of the Goose (Lognes, 2004), The Rhinoféroce (Vervins, 2005), The Mad Cow (Vervins, 2005), Totem for ACERGY (Suresnes, 2005), Totem railway (Pithiviers, 2005), The Pieta (Abbaye of Louye, 2005), The Sheep (Jobourg, 2006), and La Francophonie (Dourdan, 2006). Additional works include monumental animal figures for Les Molières, Rivecourt, and Priory of Rivecourt, collaborative projects with students, and Ali'gator, a crocodile sculpture measuring 370 x 60 x 75 cm.
