  • Established Artist
  • International Exposure
Gladys Sica is an Italian-Argentine artist whose practice spans sculpture, engraving, drawing, and painting. Educated at two Fine Arts Academies in Buenos Aires, she works across materials including clay, plaster, marble, bronze, wood, and various painting media on paper and canvas. Sica’s neo-figurative approach moves between abstraction and figuration, exploring the expressive possibilities of gesture, tool, and vivid color. Her work reflects her inner life, offering a personal vision shaped by the unity of art, psyche, and spirit. An art teacher and Professor of Sculpture and Art History, Sica has received more than seventy awards, held over thirty solo exhibitions—including her first in Italy in 1993—and completed numerous Latin American murals.
