Gladys Sica, an Italian-Argentine multidisciplinary artist, expresses herself through sculpture, engraving, drawing, and painting, having studied at two Fine Arts Academies in Buenos Aires.
He favors a neo-figurative approach, constantly balancing abstraction and figuration, and drawing unexpected and profound meanings from the interaction of chisel and gouges with clay, plaster, marble, bronze, and wood; as well as pencil, pen, palette knife, and brush with intense colors on paper, cardboard, and canvas.
His works are a direct expression of his inner life, they convey a kind of primordial dream, a unity of art, psyche and spirit, they give voice to his personal vision of the world.
Art teacher and Professor of Sculpture and Art History, winner of over seventy awards, she has held more than thirty solo exhibitions, her first in Italy in 1993, and numerous Latin American murals.
