Giuseppe Pastore, born in Italy in 1980, began painting at thirty after earning a degree in physics and without formal artistic training. His practice is shaped by interests in science, nature, and martial arts, and moves fluidly between styles—from early action painting in acrylics to abstract, three-dimensional oil works. Light and depth are central concerns in his “Lux” series, where titanium white plays a prominent role. Pastore experiments with pointillism and 3D effects, working without adherence to specific artistic models but drawing energy from passionate creators. Influences include classical music, cosmic phenomena, and his parallel practices of photography and piano. Rejecting rigid planning, he allows inspiration to shape his process, using art both as personal expression and as a way to distill beauty into form and color. His work unfolds along four distinct compositional directions, each with the intent to provoke an immediate visual impact.
