Elisabetta Zini is an Italian artist whose work examines authentic identity through material, symbolic, and performative means. Drawing on her background in caregiving, she reinterprets principles from Eastern arts such as Kintsugi, Suminagashi, and cymatics. Each piece begins with the deliberate breaking of the support, which is then reassembled—transforming the fracture into an opportunity to discover what endures beyond roles and definitions. Using cracks, gold, vibrations, physical materials, and iconic figures, Zini creates works that prompt viewers to consider the nature of the self.
