Elisabetta Pienti, born in Milan in 1981, is an oil painter whose work fuses introspection with evocative, abstract landscapes. After relocating to New York in 2017, she refined her technique at the New York School of the Arts and pursued her practice in the city for seven years. Pienti’s paintings reflect a careful consideration of her internal state, exploring the intersection of personal experience and the outside world. Her work often centers on the interplay of color and light in pursuit of balance. Recognized as “PURE EVOCATION,” Pienti’s art was exhibited at the XV Florence Biennale and selected for publication in the Atlas of Contemporary Art (edition no. 74), presented at MoMA, New York, in June 2026.
