Elisa Zadi is a painter and visual artist based in the Florentine countryside, originally from Arezzo. Trained at the Istituto Statale d’Arte and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, she teaches Graphic Arts and Painting at the Art School. Zadi’s practice centers on painting, employing techniques that range from oil on hand-primed canvas to homemade pastels, and often incorporates experimental methods inspired by Renaissance workshops. Her portraits and self-portraits engage themes of femininity, identity, and the relationship with nature, often evoking ideas of mystery, introspection, and transformation.
