With a background in architecture, the artist approaches painting as both refuge and a means of articulating what lies beneath the surface—unspoken emotions, memories, and symbolic imagery. Working in oil, the artist favors the medium’s contemplative pace, allowing time for inner visions to take form. Influences range from the Symbolists and Impressionists to Surrealist women artists whose work drew on personal experience as poetic material. Drawing on nature, myth, and folklore, the paintings reference archetypal themes such as metamorphosis, memory, solitude, and light. Each canvas is conceived as a meeting point between the visible and the hidden.
