Credentials

  • Established Artist
  • Works on commission
Known for a multifaceted practice that bridges art, science, and urban futures, this bestselling painter creates floral works informed by medical and scientific studies on health and happiness. In 2024, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine featured the artist in an interview on their “happy” art and the book, *100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design*. Their work appeared on the cover of *Healthcare Design Magazine* in January/February 2025. The ongoing Smart City Art series draws from experience rewriting for Tokyo’s anime industry—including work on a Studio Ghibli film prior to its sale to Disney—and engages with ideas about sustainability and planetary health as more of the world’s population moves to cities. In 2026, the artist will travel to Shanghai for a three-month painting project focused on the city and sustainability. Commissions are an important part of their practice, shaped by close collaboration with clients.
