Dominique Desmeules is a Canadian artist recognized for her vibrant floral paintings and evolving abstract works. Originally from Chicoutimi in the Saguenay region, she studied graphic design at UQAM and began her career as a graphic designer before working in the travel industry, experiences that shaped her visual language. Since dedicating herself fully to painting in 2007, Desmeules has exhibited across Canada and participated in international art fairs in Europe, Asia, the USA, South America, and Australia. She has presented solo exhibitions in Seoul, and six of her works were acquired by a patron in Singapore. Her current practice emphasizes luminous, textured abstractions rooted in color and emotion.
