David Levy is an American artist known for combining conceptual approaches with abstract painting. Self-taught, Levy turned to full-time artmaking in 2017 following a career in advertising. Between 2019 and 2023, his output intensified during a period marked by lockdown and caregiving for his wife. His evolving practice moves between geometric abstraction, illusionistic forms, and concept-driven series, deliberately avoiding repetition in style. Levy’s work has been shown in exhibitions from New York to San Francisco and is included in private collections in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
