David Aranda (Davaro) is a Barcelona-based artist whose practice centers on the human figure as a site of introspection and personal transformation. Drawing on classical traditions from ancient Greece and the Renaissance, he reinterprets the figure through a contemporary lens, using faces and bodies to examine identity and inner conflict. Inspired early on by painter Tokio Ujike, Aranda has exhibited his work in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and Dubai, participating in both art fairs and exhibitions in public and private spaces.
