Dario Longo works with found objects, assembling them on large shelves that emphasize their everyday character. Preferring objects over words, he collects items not to transform them, but to live alongside them and observe their overlooked details. His approach to color is cautious—when used, it appears in fluorescent tones. Longo’s practice emerged from the chance discovery of a foosball player, which became the first in an ongoing series of personal finds. His studio, often untidy, contrasts with his wish for empty space, yet his installations highlight the quiet beauty of ordinary things.
