Working between abstract expressionism and realism, Damian Ebejer creates paintings that combine intricate forms with vivid color to find order amid complexity. His practice, shaped by a need to reinvent himself after a turbulent early adulthood, reflects a continual search for new artistic boundaries and a focus on self-discovery. Since 1994, Ebejer has presented 20 solo exhibitions, most recently “Butterfly” in December 2025. In addition to his painting, he produces commissioned murals and has published two books of poetry. He continues to pursue fresh directions in his work without relying on recurring concepts.
