Working with mixed media on large canvases, Chiara Di Carlo combines figurative elements—human bodies, natural forms, and essential shapes—into compositions shaped by the influence of Mario Sironi and Buzzati. Her practice is marked by an intense use of black and a focus on emotionally charged themes such as loneliness, fear, conflict, and the tension between humanity and nature. Born in Pescara in 1997, Di Carlo studied painting, museology, and curation at the Academy of Fine Arts in L'Aquila.
